about in2improv

in2improv is an organization that empowers communities through performance and improvisation. Grounded in the performing arts, we use experimental improvised performance to generate questions, open new possibilities and shake long-held beliefs about the value of predominant aesthetics. As performance activists, we are committed to creating environments where people who don't usually have the chance to come together, can gather to co-create something new. We are currently based in the US/Mexico border activating communities through programs, workshops and performances in El Paso, TX and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.

mission

We use performance and improvisation to empower communities through programs, workshops, classes and performances in El Paso, TX and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. in2improv intends to promote artistic and social development by bringing professional artists and art educators together with at-risk populations to build collaborative spaces where we can create new performances, allowing participants to see alternatives to the way they live and relate to others and the world.
